This model has been updated as many constructors had
written to me suggesting it would be of more value if it indicated the time. I
have now done this by fitting two motion work gears outside the frame together
with an hour hand and dial. This has been designed as an addition, so those
who have already made the model can simply add the extra parts. As the
original mainspring only ran the model for some four hours, I have converted
it to weight drive with autowinding, and mounted it on a small trestle. It can
also be wall mounted if preferred. The dial and other special parts can be
obtained from RiteTime publishing.
